Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape and prototype new workflows that bring design and production code closer together, including AI-powered experiences
  • •Contribute to product strategy and decision-making about product direction
  • •Deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities
  • •Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, UX writing, data science, and research to create and iterate on flows and prototypes
  • •Design and ship high-quality features and product improvements in Figma’s core product surfaces

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years designing UX/UI for software products at similar scale and complexity
  • •Strong visual craft across composition, typography, layout, interaction design, and prototyping
  • •Proven ability to independently lead end-to-end design from discovery through launch while balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals
  • •Ability to guide decisions with structured thinking, clear design rationale, and user-centered research
  • •Experience designing technically complex products (e.g., developer tools/extensible platforms) with understanding of software workflows, APIs, and systems
