Job Summary

Install and configure audiovisual systems for AVI-SPL customer projects, including cable pulls and terminations, equipment component setup, and rack fabrication and wiring. Lead and direct installation crews on less complex jobs, interpret schematics/blueprints, test point-to-point cabling, and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Track and secure jobsite tools and equipment, communicate daily status to the Project Manager, and coordinate with other trades while traveling to multiple sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform AV installation tasks including cable pulls/terminations, equipment/component installation, and rack fabrication and wiring.
•Lead and direct installation crews on less complex projects while coordinating and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
•Interpret project system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints.
•Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors; test point-to-point cabling and verify system functionality.
•Communicate jobsite status to the Project Manager, act as customer liaison on-site, coordinate with other trades, and travel to required job sites.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 2–4 years of audiovisual installation experience.

•Knowledge and ability to use specific test equipment for required applications, and apply installation safety codes and standards.
•Valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record meeting AVI-SPL driving privileges standards.
