Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage day-to-day service operations for installations, delivery, and deployment within assigned area of responsibility.
  • •Perform installation, upgrades, repairs, and evaluations for low-voltage cabling and fiber optic structured cabling systems.
  • •Physically install, configure, and test network assets (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls, and testing devices) in network closets and data center cabinets.
  • •Complete Move, Add Change (MAC) requests and provide hardware break-fix services for network infrastructure.
  • •Respond to incidents/emergencies as needed, coordinate with internal teams to complete work orders, and complete documentation for billing and SLAs.

Key Requirements

  • •5 years of experience in data communications.
  • •Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle able to carry a 6-foot ladder.
  • •Proficient with cable testers and fiber testers, and able to troubleshoot cabling infrastructure issues.
  • •Must understand cable patching processes and procedures, including 66 Block and 110 Block cross-connect procedures.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; basic knowledge of data communications networking and IP phone.
