Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the continued development of a strong team to provide leadership and robust management, serving as the first point of contact with clients, partners and contractors.
  • •Establish new processes and procedures or enhance existing ones to ensure continuous improvement in operations, including delivering technical presentations and peer reviews of submissions.
  • •Guide and influence project and program outcomes by applying extensive project experience and strategic direction from across a portfolio.
  • •Demonstrate leadership in design activities and oversee delivery of engineering work packages within the nuclear sector, including decommissioning and new build projects.
  • •Travel to various sites for direct engagement and oversight of ongoing projects and initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant Engineering Degree: Structural Engineering Degree, or equivalent, at Masters or PhD level
  • •Chartered Engineer (CEng) with MIStructE or equivalent institute
  • •Demonstrable experience in leading others and developing team members
  • •Demonstrable expertise with structural engineering knowledge and skills in the nuclear sector or similar regulated industry
  • •Demonstrable record of successful delivery, including guiding other professional engineers in defining, implementing and delivering engineering work packages
