Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead 2 program teams and drive successful execution of clinical studies, programs, and research strategies; define and manage benefit-to-risk profile of products
  • •Represent Clinical Development on Global Program Team and Global Medicine Team; advance understanding of pathophysiology of rare/orphan diseases through data interpretation
  • •Foster development of Medical Directors/ CDS; lead and oversee programs and preparation of clinical development strategies and related documents
  • •Provide scientific/medical input to other R&D, commercial, translational, medicine and BD functions; oversee clinical activities to support due diligences
  • •Represent Alexion Clinical Development to internal and external communities and coordinate cross-functional activities related to clinical development study design, execution and regulatory responses

Key Requirements

  • •MD or equivalent with experience in nephrology
  • •7+ years of experience in clinical development, clinical research, global regulatory, and product development
