Job Summary

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair feed blend equipment and mill facilities while keeping a safe work environment and following Tyson policies. Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose maintenance issues, support spare parts inventory control and procurement, and keep required records. You’ll comply with safety and operational procedures (including lockout/tagout and forklift/boiler-related policies) and handle physically demanding work in industrial conditions.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot maintenance issues and maintain/repair feed blend equipment and company assets while following Tyson safety and operational policies.
•Perform preventive maintenance and maintenance upkeep on all feed blend equipment and mill facilities.
•Assist with spare parts inventory control and procurement.
•Maintain required records per Tyson and/or other regulatory agencies.
•Comply with safety and operational requirements, including electrical, hot works, environmental, lockout/tagout, forklift operation, rail car mover operation, and boiler operation.

Key Requirements

•Have at least six (6) months of industrial maintenance experience or be a graduate of a Maintenance Training Program, with experience/training documented on the application or resume.
•Have six (6) months of continuous work history with one employer within the last twenty-four (24) months.
•Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Windows-based programs such as Word and Excel.
•Some mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical/electrical power transmissions, motor control, conveyors (drags), pneumatics, plumbing, welding, and fabrication.
•Valid Alabama Driver License with a good driving record and ability to meet physical demands (lifting 50–100 lbs, climbing ladders over 100 ft) plus work overtime and be on call.
