Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a variety of production machines (e.g., washer, shot peen, furnace, laser weld/ablation, x-ray, bake, detailer) and complete routine operations on the production line.
  • •Produce parts (blades and/or vanes) and perform all required quality checks while working shift schedules and overtime when needed.
  • •Read and interpret process sheets and gages; deburr and clean parts; perform minor offset changes; change setups; and document information on check sheets/run charts.
  • •Assess product acceptance against blueprint specifications and run all equipment in the entire work loop to produce product per standard work.
  • •Clock labor in Solumina, perform daily TPM, and keep equipment and the work area clean per 5S while moving along the machine line.
