Job Summary

Operate production manufacturing equipment to produce blades and/or vanes, performing routine shift work and quality checks based on blueprint specifications. Follow standard work and work instructions, read process sheets and gages, and document results on check sheets and run charts. Perform daily total preventive maintenance (TPM), clock labor in Solumina, maintain a 5S work area, and safely move along the machine line throughout the work loop.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a variety of production machines (e.g., washer, shot peen, furnace, laser weld/ablation, x-ray, bake, detailer) and complete routine operations on the production line.
•Produce parts (blades and/or vanes) and perform all required quality checks while working shift schedules and overtime when needed.
•Read and interpret process sheets and gages; deburr and clean parts; perform minor offset changes; change setups; and document information on check sheets/run charts.
•Assess product acceptance against blueprint specifications and run all equipment in the entire work loop to produce product per standard work.
•Clock labor in Solumina, perform daily TPM, and keep equipment and the work area clean per 5S while moving along the machine line.
