Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the concept, design, and end-to-end delivery of complex product features for SAP Business Network’s US Navy PPS program, including architecture, coding, testing, and QA.
  • •Drive architectural and technical decisions to align with platform standards, product strategy, and government security requirements.
  • •Act as the primary technical escalation point, providing definitive guidance and recommendations for future technical direction.
  • •Provide senior technical leadership across the engineering organization, mentoring and upskilling developers and strengthening Agile engineering practices.
  • •Manage high-volume, high-risk project milestones and communicate delivery progress and quality expectations with US Navy customers and partners.

Salary: USD 198,200 - 420,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •U.S. Citizenship required to support U.S. public sector customers and government environments.
  • •10+ years of professional software development experience leading complex, enterprise-scale product delivery.
  • •Expert proficiency in one or more of Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or equivalent languages in cloud-native environments.
  • •Deep knowledge of distributed systems architecture, microservices design, and RESTful/OData API development on modern cloud platforms (SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • •Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka), long-running distributed workflows (Temporal or similar), and large-scale data platform migrations (including Databricks).
