Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families at military installations.
  • •Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
  • •Develop and distribute informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize and conduct Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Utilize virtual counseling and electronic communication modes for remote support as permitted by program, and adhere to DoD protocols.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required or an associate degree plus 4 years of experience in lieu of bachelor's
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English
  • •If contract requires, bilingual in English and Spanish
  • •Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification (or equivalent)
