  • •Own the shipping and logistics domain end-to-end, including carrier integrations, rate shopping, label generation, and supporting systems.
  • •Own the team’s technical direction, backlog priorities, and delivery processes; balance input from the team and stakeholders with company strategy.
  • •Champion AI adoption by setting expectations, supporting skill-building, and reviewing AI-generated work with the same rigor as code.
  • •Partner with Product and Design to shape the roadmap, estimate confidently, and communicate decisions clearly.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years managing high-performing, product-focused software engineering teams with a track record delivering business value.
  • •Experience in SaaS, startup, or ecommerce environments; shipping/fulfillment/reverse logistics or complex integrations is a plus.
  • •Recent hands-on experience as a software engineer with depth to engage in architectural decisions and mentor developers.
  • •Use AI agents as a default part of how you and your team work; describe how it changed output.
  • •Strong grasp of Agile principles (including SCRUM) and a history of shipping high-quality software iteratively.
