Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Lead/Technician Inspector, UME

Repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy power equipment at Fort Hood, including cranes, shovels, paving and trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, pumps, compressors, and tracked/wheeled vehicles. Diagnose defects by operating and inspecting equipment, dismantle and reassemble systems, weld broken parts, and test overhauled equipment for operating efficiency. Serve as a lead with administrative duties for personnel accountability, timekeeping, reporting, and enforcing safety and contract standards.
