Job Summary

Lead and enhance risk oversight for digital assets and blockchain-based technologies, including distributed ledger technologies (DLT), tokenisation, smart contracts, and custody solutions. Own risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation, and support development of the firm’s Digital Asset Risk Management Framework. Monitor regulatory developments, define KRIs and reporting for senior stakeholders, and evaluate technology, cyber, operational resilience, and third-party risks.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks tied to DLT, digital asset products, tokenisation initiatives, smart contracts, custody solutions, and blockchain ecosystems.
•Conduct risk reviews for new digital asset products, services, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
•Develop and enhance the Digital Asset Risk Management Framework and integrate digital asset risks into enterprise risk management processes, taxonomies, and reporting.
•Monitor evolving regulatory developments affecting digital assets and blockchain technology, and provide risk guidance with Legal and Compliance.
•Maintain KRIs and management reporting for senior management and risk/regulatory stakeholders, and escalate emerging risks and control concerns.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
•Typically 7–10+ years of experience in risk management, operational risk, technology risk, digital assets, FinTech, or financial services.
•Strong understanding of blockchain/digital-asset concepts including distributed ledger systems, smart contracts, tokenisation, and custody solutions.
•Experience assessing operational, technology, cyber, third-party, and regulatory risks in complex financial services environments.
•Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and supervisory expectations for digital assets and blockchain technologies.
