Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage production budgets; track costs and forecasts; produce weekly financial reports and monitor studio budget including partner payments.
  • •Be present on set during production to oversee weekly payments and ensure real-time expense monitoring.
  • •Oversee crew payroll and manage petty cash, per diems, and P-cards; handle banking setup and documentation.
  • •Process and code invoices and expense reports, reconcile accounts, and audit reimbursements for policy compliance.
  • •Maintain general ledger and trial balances; generate financial reports; support audits and tax filings; supervise junior finance staff and coordinate with Legal, Business Affairs, and Production.

Key Requirements

  • •8–10 years of production accounting experience in film, TV, or digital media.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA/CAPPA is a plus).
  • •Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and familiarity with production accounting tools such as Movie Magic, SmartAccounting, or MediaWeb.
  • •Solid understanding of tax incentives, regional compliance, and local currency management (especially for Egyptian productions).
  • •Fluent Arabic (spoken and written, including script reading) and strong English communication; committed to integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
