Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute electrical safety tests as per schedules and applicable standards, including insulation resistance, dielectric strength, leakage current, and grounding continuity tests.
  • •Develop test procedures and generate detailed, accurate test reports while maintaining complete traceable documentation.
  • •Operate and maintain test equipment and instrumentation, ensuring proper environmental conditions and calibration requirements are met.
  • •Ensure compliance with laboratory safety practices and adhere to ISO/IEC 17025 QMS requirements, including QC testing and ILC/PT program participation as assigned.
  • •Support internal/external audit preparations (e.g., NABL, certification bodies) and prepare the laboratory for product certifications and external audits, including LIMS and datasheet updates.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
  • •Hands-on experience in electrical safety testing aligned with IEC, UL, or CSA standards.
  • •Working knowledge of insulation resistance, dielectric strength, leakage current, and grounding tests.
  • •Experience in test procedure development and reporting.
  • •Understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and laboratory QMS practices, including experience in NABL-accredited or similar testing laboratories.
