Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with patients to identify physical problems and develop and review treatment programmes.
  • •Assist patients with joint and spinal problems, including following surgery, and support rehabilitation after accidents, injury, and strokes.
  • •Supervise physiotherapy assistants and instruct physiotherapy aides.
  • •Write patient case notes and reports, and collect patient statistics.
  • •Maintain a safe work environment by recording/reporting adverse clinical events and identifying/reporting workplace hazards; participate in quality management and continuous improvement activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate from an approved College or University in Physiotherapy.
  • •Current license in country of origin with DOH license to practice in the Emirate of Al Ain, U.A.E.
  • •Minimum 2 years experience of practice in Physical Medicine.
  • •Excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic language advantageous/desirable but not essential.
  • •Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a hospital-based, multidisciplinary team.
