Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide project management leadership and oversight for Substation and/or Transmission Line projects across the Northeast, ensuring delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Oversee detailed design, budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, monitor external events, manage risk contingencies, and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • •Serve as project management subject matter expert to uphold corporate internal standards and address project management challenges.
  • •Support recruiting, interviewing, retention, employee reviews for direct reports, and mentoring of project management staff using internal process and best practices (including earned value management and PMBOK-aligned practices).
  • •Lead stakeholder engagement and reporting, coordinate risk/technical reviews and QA/QC activities, facilitate project kickoffs and closeouts, and contribute to contract negotiations and presentations as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) and willingness for PMP consideration.
  • •15+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within the Power Delivery/Utility industry.
  • •Minimum 5 years of applicable industry experience supporting engineering services for IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, and Munis.
  • •Minimum 5 years leading engineering and/or construction teams on medium/large electrical utility-scale power delivery projects (medium to extra-high voltage).
  • •Advanced knowledge of project management processes/tools including contract management, earned value management, risk, schedule (CPM/Primavera P6 or equivalent), change, and financial management.
