Key Responsibilities

  • •Set communications strategy, core messages, and a 12-month editorial calendar, building the operational infrastructure to run it.
  • •Build an earned media and public relations program using data-driven insights to consistently place coverage with major outlets.
  • •Lead rapid-response and policy newsjacking, producing commentary, data-backed spokespeople, and op-eds when SSA or related policy breaks.
  • •Own public affairs and Congressional engagement, including organizing Washington fly-ins and supporting briefings, roundtables, and hill events.
  • •Manage agencies and stakeholder alignment across Policy, Legal, Product, and Growth; hire and develop the comms team over time.
