Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and develop the hardware product management team, including setting standards for managing hardware products.
  • •Partner with engineering leadership to develop and maintain the hardware roadmap across robots, peripherals, and components.
  • •Own hardware product strategy and portfolio coherence, managing reuse, variants, and configuration strategy.
  • •Establish roadmap governance, prioritization frameworks, and metrics discipline, holding product managers accountable to customer-connected outcomes.
  • •Drive hardware new product introduction (NPI) through mass production and own post-launch lifecycle activities including sustaining, field issue resolution, spares, and end-of-life planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Build, lead, and develop hardware product management teams, including hiring, coaching, and setting standards.
  • •Own hardware product and NPI execution from concept through end of life, including design for manufacturability, reliability/validation, and cost/BOM management.
  • •Experience with autonomous robots or similar complex electromechanical systems and fluency at the hardware/software co-development boundary.
  • •Hands-on experience working with vendors, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal manufacturing teams.
  • •At least 10 years of experience in product management or engineering, including 5+ years leading product managers shipping complex hardware products.
