Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and calibrate instruments used for measurement and control in production.
  • •Repair and maintain process control field instrumentation and troubleshoot instrumentation devices.
  • •Apply factory acceptance testing and perform field inspections.
  • •Maintain master equipment lists for advanced analytics workstreams and build a stock schedule and critical spares list.
  • •Maintain and apply design criteria specifications, industry standards, and coordinate with the advanced analytics and advanced process control team.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete an approved Instrumentation or Electrical apprenticeship program, or hold an electrical license/certification (preference for combined electrical and instrumentation apprenticeship).
  • •Current and valid driver's license.
  • •At least 10 years of experience in Electrical/Instrumentation and controls design in mining, oil/gas, power, or other industrial environments.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot motor control circuits, read electrical schematics and wire diagrams, and install/calibrate flow, pressure, and level meters using electrical test equipment.
  • •Experience with control systems, including DCS and PLC, is an asset.
