Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage commercial contracts, procurement, and negotiations in an NEC environment, including post-contract activities such as payment approvals, cost assessments, and contract changes.
  • •Oversee procurement and tender activities: advise on procurement strategy, prepare tender documents, run competitive tender processes, and support tender evaluations.
  • •Produce cost reports and cost forecasting, including scrutinising interim payment applications and preparing certificates.
  • •Manage change control in line with contracts and support project managers with early warnings, instructions, and compensation events.
  • •Promote commercial awareness across projects and support dispute resolution and contract close-out strategy as required.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Proven expertise in quantity surveying, procurement, and/or estimating, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • •Degree-qualified, with chartered status (MRICS) or actively working towards it.
  • •Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and infrastructure cost management.
  • •Collaborative, proactive approach with clear communication and adaptability.
  • •Ability to balance site travel with flexible, balanced working.
