Job Summary

Take hands-on ownership of plant reliability by leading day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure across multiple Dutch sites. Maximize uptime through preventive and predictive maintenance programs, coordinate vendors and contractors for infrastructure upgrades, and apply an Enterprise Lean System mindset to reduce waste and improve energy efficiency. Ensure core EHS compliance is built into daily technical workflows while acting as a technical influencer on the shopfloor.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for production equipment, plant machinery, and facility utility systems.
•Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize site operational uptime.
•Maintain an on-the-floor presence to guide technical workflows, solve engineering challenges, and influence teams without direct authority.
•Serve as primary point of contact for contractors, equipment manufacturers, and technical suppliers for infrastructure upgrades and facility servicing.
•Oversee basic environmental, health, and safety compliance across three sites, lead minor incident investigations, and ensure maintenance follows safe work permits and Dutch legal codes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance (or related technical field) or equivalent practical technical experience.
•3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, technical operations, or plant engineering in a manufacturing/production environment.
•Strong technical proficiency in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, automated manufacturing machinery, HVAC, and basic facility utility management.
•Exposure to Lean manufacturing practices including ELS, 5S, and TPM with a continuous improvement mindset.
•Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English; must be based in the Netherlands and authorized to work without sponsorship.
