Job Summary

Drive and optimize mine-wide operational performance by integrating planning, execution, systems, partnerships, and performance processes. Serve as a key integration and performance partner to the Operations Manager, translating operational data into actionable insights to improve decision-making and ensure cross-functional alignment. Lead performance governance and risk management for mine-wide operations, using advanced analytics and reporting tools to support transformation initiatives and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Align planning, execution, systems, partnerships, and performance processes to drive and optimize mine-wide operational performance.
•Act as an integration and performance partner to the Operations Manager by providing actionable insights and improving decision-making.
•Ensure cross-functional alignment across operational teams through performance processes and operational governance.
•Apply advanced data analytics to generate operational insight and support data-driven performance management.
•Lead performance governance and risk management, supporting transformation initiatives and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Degree (NQF Level 7) in Mining, Engineering, Operations Management, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Post Graduate qualification (added advantage).
•Valid Code B/BE Driver’s license (Manual Transmission).
•Valid Code of Conduct.
•8–10 years in mining or heavy industrial operations with exposure to operations performance management, operational governance, systems integration, and data-driven decision support or transformation initiatives.
