Key Responsibilities

  • •Own day-to-day performance, uptime, and reliability of MHE/PIT assets, including forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor/sortation systems, RFID equipment, PandA, and ASRS.
  • •Ensure equipment capabilities support distribution center throughput, productivity, and service level targets; monitor and manage uptime, downtime, cost per unit, maintenance intervals, and safety incidents.
  • •Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, spare parts planning, and lifecycle upgrades/replacements to drive maintenance maturity and reliability.
  • •Manage external partners and vendors to ensure maximum uptime availability, including vendor operating rhythm, audits/performance reviews, and contract/service-level compliance.
  • •Lead continuous improvement and project phases (planning through execution/acceptance) for automation, retrofits, facility enhancements, and end-of-life equipment strategy, including budgeting and forecast accountability.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
  • •7+ years of experience in distribution center, manufacturing, or logistics operations with a strong focus on MHE/PIT operations.
  • •Hands-on experience managing or supporting MHE/PIT systems in high-volume environments.
  • •Experience working with MHE/PIT and automation providers (e.g., KNAPP, Honeywell, or similar).
