Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in set-up and operations for a vacuum atomization furnace, including cleaning, monitoring, and securing activities.
  • •Perform basic hoist and rigging operations and operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs).
  • •Assist with removal and replacement of furnace lid and coils, including cleaning furnace chamber and O-ring seal.
  • •Under supervision of the team lead, support disassembly/reassembly of the atomization chamber during alloy changes and make minor repairs to furnace/auxiliary equipment.
  • •Support CORE and EH&S initiatives, wear required PPE, and be prepared to work outside typical shift as needed.

Key Requirements
