Key Responsibilities

  • •Support new machining center installations and/or existing machining production operations through configuration management and paperwork activities.
  • •Troubleshoot and perform improvement activities to resolve technical system and equipment issues in cooperation with related disciplines.
  • •Ensure understanding and application of Conduct of Engineering, Conduct of Operations, and Conduct of Maintenance for nuclear regulated facilities.
  • •Maintain effective communication and interface with clients, production and support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees.
  • •Perform work in a production environment and be willing to work the expected schedule with potential for occasional overtime.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 78,075 - 132,766

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a US citizen and able to meet pre-employment requirements including required physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation.
  • •Requires an ABET-accredited BS in an engineering discipline plus 5+ years of relevant professional experience OR an MS in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • •Machining experience required; additional systems/equipment experience in mechanical and electrical systems preferred.
  • •Ability to obtain/maintain a DOE Q clearance.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with clients, production/support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees.
