Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead advanced performance tuning using AWR/ASH analysis, SQL tracing, execution plan deep analysis, wait-event methodology, and SQL Monitor/Real-Time ADDM.
  • •Diagnose systemic database issues (I/O bottlenecks, latch contention, memory pressure, CPU saturation) and improve performance.
  • •Optimize databases with indexing, partitioning, query rewrites, PL/SQL optimization, and connection pooling patterns for OLTP-heavy core banking workloads.
  • •Architect high availability and disaster recovery using Oracle RAC and Data Guard/Active Data Guard, including DR drills and failover simulations.
  • •Implement database hardening and security best practices such as role-based access control and privilege minimization, ensuring compliance with RBI/central bank guidelines and audit standards.
