Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, water systems, pumps, and mechanical components.
  • •Diagnose mechanical issues and implement timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • •Maintain utility infrastructure such as boilers, chillers, air compressors, piping systems, and related equipment.
  • •Assist with equipment installation, relocation, and modifications as needed.
  • •Respond to maintenance work orders and emergency repair requests.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • •3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or utility systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • •Working knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and facility utilities.
  • •Currently hold City of Grand Rapids or State of MI boiler license or must obtain license after one year of service.
  • •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in varying environmental conditions including heat, noise, and industrial settings.
