Job Summary

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in pit and mining operations, following OSHA/MSHA procedures and company policies. Work in a team environment, report problems to your manager, perform daily pre- and post-inspections, and handle minor servicing and maintenance. Maintain safe backing and communication practices, assist with general labor as needed, and support training of less-experienced employees. This mobile role requires 50%+ travel time and may involve nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate heavy equipment used in pit and mining operations.
•Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures.
•Perform minor servicing/maintenance and refer major issues to the foreman.
•Complete daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation.
•Assist in training less-experienced employees and perform general labor duties when necessary.
