Build and enhance Capital Markets quantitative modeling and analytical frameworks, including derivatives and fixed income models, to generate insights and decision tools. Collaborate across lines of business and entities to develop novel analytics solutions and improve performance through quantitative methods, automation, and machine learning. Partner with cross-disciplinary teams to create cloud-based, data-grounded solutions, provide technical guidance, and communicate results clearly across audiences.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with business lines to develop and enhance Capital Markets modeling and analytical frameworks, such as derivatives and fixed income models.
•Create novel analytical solutions across Capital One entities to address challenging business problems.
•Identify opportunities to apply quantitative methods, automation, and machine learning to improve business performance and process efficiencies.
•Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to build cloud-based solutions grounded in data.
•Own the model development lifecycle, including validation, deployment, business user training, and monitoring, while providing technical guidance and clear communication of results.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 135,600 - 154,800 annually

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in a quantitative field (or MBA with quantitative concentration) or equivalent with the required degree obtained by the scheduled start date.
•At least 1 year of experience in statistical or econometric modeling, including linear and logistic regression.
•Programming experience in R, Python, or SQL, plus the ability to present statistical concepts to non-statistical audiences.
•At least 1 year of experience in at least 3 areas including survival analysis, time-series, panel data, cross-sectional analysis, machine learning, and working with large datasets (>1M records).
•Preferred: 2 years of experience with Python, R, or other statistical analyst software.
