Job Summary

Build and optimize NLP, computer vision, and multimodal algorithms to detect risks and low-quality issues across ByteDance’s global e-commerce platform. Develop anti-fraud models for illegal behaviors and events, and improve review systems and recommendation traffic control. Key Responsibilities

•Optimize NLP, computer vision, and multimodal algorithms for e-commerce content understanding.
•Detect risk/low-quality/style issues in e-commerce content and apply outputs to review systems and recommendation traffic control.
•Identify and control risky sellers and low-quality e-commerce anchors using user profile information.
•Build anti-fraud models to recognize illegal behaviors and events in the e-commerce scenario.
•Develop and productionize scalable/optimized AI/ML models, including real-time unstructured data ETL, and run experiments to validate deployed model performance and fix issues.

Key Requirements

•At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
•Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related major.
•Strong theoretical knowledge of machine learning/deep learning with rich practical experience.
•Familiarity with 1–2 areas such as data mining, NLP, computer vision, or graph algorithms.
•Proficiency with Linux R&D and programming in Python/Go/C++.
•Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills with strong communication and teamwork.
•Preferred: best paper or equivalent awards and/or winners of international academic competitions.
