Job Summary

Senior Strategy & Market Consultant in Aramco's Downstream Strategy & Capital Planning group. Independently initiates research on long-term topics affecting Downstream competitive performance, prepares analyses for executive management and corporate committees, and collaborates with a team to formulate energy outlook scenarios and capital allocation plans. Builds relationships with internal experts and external think tanks to stay ahead of technology, geopolitics, sustainability, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the Company’s foremost expert in Downstream strategy.
•Act as the “Corporate Advisor” for Downstream business-related matters, and provide insight to Downstream Finance, Strategy & Planning function, the Downstream President, and other members of Downstream Executive Management.
•Prepare research and analysis for consumption by Downstream Executive Management, the Downstream Investment & Strategy Committee, or other Corporate Committees.
•Collaborate in a group of strategists responsible for articulating the overall Downstream Strategy for the Company, as well as the formulation of energy outlook scenarios.
•Collaborate in a group of strategists and planners responsible for development of the Downstream’s longer-term strategic plans, including capital/resource allocation plans.

Key Requirements

•Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Financial Management or related fields.
•Minimum of 15 years of experience in a combination of refining, chemicals, trading and retail marketing with an international integrated Downstream company or global energy think tank/consulting firm, including at least 5 years in strategy formulation, scenario planning, and/or strategic planning.
•Demonstrable experience of change management experience.
•Excellent English communication is also necessary.
•You will also have written and oral storytelling skills
