Job Summary

Ensure plant equipment operates reliably by performing electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and completing repairs. Install power supply wiring and conduit, read blueprints and wiring diagrams, calibrate and adjust equipment to manufacturer specifications, and conduct scheduled preventative maintenance. Maintain tools and spare parts, document maintenance activities with reports, support uptime improvements, and maintain housekeeping standards across the maintenance shop and production areas.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in the production area.
•Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning machinery, then replace or repair faulty components.
•Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed or repaired machines and equipment.
•Calibrate and adjust electrical and mechanical equipment to manufacturer specifications.
•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, prepare maintenance reports, and maintain housekeeping standards.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/equivalent or completion of technical school, or equivalent training/experience/education.
•At least 2 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support functions.
•Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements for electrical and mechanical operations.
•Able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
•Full knowledge of three-phase 480-volt equipment and working knowledge of three-phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, computer interfaces, and the National Electrical Code.
