Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute the Black Box QMS on the shop floor to ensure project construction meets industry and customer standards.
  • •Coordinate quality expectations with program representatives and engage operational personnel to comply with installation specifications in the QMS.
  • •Conduct formal Gemba walks and timely WIP quality inspections prioritized by production status and risk.
  • •Train and coach field staff to integrate quality awareness into daily activities and support Right First Time.
  • •Manage nonconformance reporting and verification audits, trend data for recurring issues, and support structured problem-solving to determine root cause and countermeasures.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •2+ years field experience installing and testing fiber.
  • •Structured cabling and/or data center cabling experience.
  • •Ability to implement and monitor a Quality Management System.
  • •Experience training technicians and/or quality standards preferred.
