Key Responsibilities

  • •Keep the Heavy Equipment Operator lead and/or Transportation Manager updated on missions and equipment status.
  • •Unload/load vehicles and equipment from carriers to avoid detention charges, moving freight using forklift, handcart, or other manual equipment.
  • •Receive turn-in vehicles per wheeled/tracked vehicle turn-in instructions and manage vehicles when units are unavailable due to training/deployment.
  • •Perform warehousing duties: verify receiving documents, route to storage locations, store/stack/palletize, take inventory, inspect for damage/deterioration, and prepare materials for shipment.
  • •Prepare vehicles for operation with pre-trip inspections and perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as required.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ year of experience operating commercial vehicles to drive 5-ton or larger equipment/vehicles with hazardous material.
  • •Experience operating RT 240 Kalmar/RTCHs and a 36K forklift.
  • •Must possess and continuously maintain a current State of Colorado Driver’s License prior to start or within 30 days after employment.
  • •Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) to obtain a CAC, with favorable results for background, drug testing, and motor vehicle report.
  • •Class A CDL and a current medical certification (desired).
