Job Summary

Lead global accounts payable operations for invoice processing and vendor payments, ensuring timely processing, accurate reconciliation, and compliance with local statutory and tax requirements. Own end-to-end AP operations, drive month-end close, manage internal/external controls, and respond to queries. Mentor and build a high-performing AP team while developing SLAs, reporting KPI dashboards, and resolving escalations, vendor disputes, and process risks. Spearhead AP automation and process improvements across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end global accounts payable operations, including timely invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliation, and travel expense settlement.
•Manage internal and external controls to minimize errors, and ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements.
•Provide timely KPI reports and dashboards on performance, compliance, and non-compliance areas.
•Lead AP automation, system implementations, and process improvements across multiple geographies; harmonize global AP practices.
•Build and mentor a high-performing AP team, manage HR-related matters, resolve vendor grievances and escalations, and drive business continuity/risk management.

Key Requirements

•In-depth knowledge of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment disbursement, vendor management, and travel expense settlement with month-end reconciliation.
•Ensure AP processes align with company policy and internal controls, including audit/review for accuracy and local compliance for the region.
•Ability to lead end-to-end global AP operations, including timely response to internal/external queries and ownership of month-end close activities.
•Lead and mentor teams, including interviewing/hiring, compensation planning, coaching, and formal performance management (mid-year and year-end).
•Ability to manage multiple transitions and projects, provide risk management and business continuity, and resolve complex issues with appropriate escalation.
