Job Summary

Hang live chickens on moving shackles while maintaining required personal protective equipment and following all company, animal welfare, and local/state/federal policies and regulations. Operate assigned equipment such as a hydraulic bar for continuous product flow, ensure chickens are positioned correctly, and follow safety programs. Work primarily Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday shifts, typically 5AM–2PM, and be prepared for extended hours and weekend/holiday work.

•Hang live chickens in moving shackles, picking up by the thighs and ensuring feet are securely caught.
•Place feed onto moving shackles during processing.
•Control a hydraulic bar with leg to maintain continuous product flow.
•Comply with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and all applicable laws and regulations.
•Follow safety policies/programs and perform other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 21.95 hourly

•Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours.
•Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
