Job Summary

Design and drive IP integration for AMD’s IOHUB within complex SoCs across data center and machine-learning workloads. Partner with global IP and SoC design teams on architecture-to-requirements execution, support synthesis and physical layout, and resolve timing and implementation challenges. Own technical planning to meet schedules, communicate status and risks in technical meetings, and provide hands-on leadership to engineers and engineers-in-training while ensuring IP quality signoff for SOC delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Understand IOHUB functional and performance requirements across various SoCs.
•Drive IP/SoC design infrastructure decisions to ensure proper consumption within the SoC context.
•Provide guidance or liaison support between IP and SoC teams for synthesis and physical layout issues.
•Scope requirements and resources to meet project schedules.
•Provide hands-on leadership for a small team, sign off IP quality for SOC delivery, and communicate status/risks in technical meetings.

Key Requirements

•Proven ASIC design experience with RTL design experience on large ASIC development projects.
•Strong background working with industry-standard synthesis tools/flows and back-end timing closure (e.g., Formality, CDC & Linting tools, Design Compiler/FX).
•Strong background in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
•Understanding of IP integration and interactions within an SoC.
•Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
