Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage internal and external relationships to increase revenue from an assigned book of accounts through referrals and sales of bank products and services.
  • •Provide proper fiduciary administration for probate estates, conservatorships, personal trusts, custody, agency, IRA, and other assigned accounts, including complex situations.
  • •Ensure compliance with fiduciary duties, applicable laws and regulations, and UMB policies and procedures when administering estate, trust, IRA, and custody accounts.
  • •Coordinate wealth strategy planning goals and objectives, and when needed provide investment management services including risk assessment, investment updates, and portfolio advice.
  • •Maintain current knowledge of UMB policies and procedures, and state and federal laws and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •10 years of technical trust and planning experience and a college degree.
  • •Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • •Strong investment knowledge and understanding, including risk assessment for clients and trusts.
  • •Demonstrated ability to sell with a competitive, results-oriented approach.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and strong interpersonal relationship-building skills.
