Job Summary

Build and maintain the Skylar AI Platform lab and end-to-end testing system that supports monthly software updates. You’ll automate deployment pipelines, simulate real user journeys, and create regression and performance gates using CI/CD and test frameworks. Partner across Product Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, Quality, and Engineering to validate third-party integrations, generate telemetry, keep versions current, and document environment processes while ensuring reliable rollbacks after failed deployments.

Key Responsibilities

•Deploy and maintain a lab environment for development, testing, and staging across multiple environment types.
•Automate deployment pipelines so tests validate builds on every commit and staging matches production.
•Create end-to-end cross-system workflows from ingestion through Skylar AI processing to telemetry and reporting dashboards.
•Simulate user journeys and maintain regression prevention test suites to catch breaks and broken functionality.
•Validate system reliability by running integration tests, performance gates, and rollback validation after failed deployments.

Key Requirements

•Build and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs with strong automation development skills using Node.js and/or Python.
•Develop full-stack debugging and troubleshooting capabilities, including JavaScript/TypeScript frontend development.
•Design test data generation/management and CI/CD pipeline automation, including GitHub and GitOps workflows.
•Use test automation frameworks such as Playwright and support load/performance testing with tools like k6 or jmeter.
•Operate with Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals and use observability/telemetry tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to validate platform performance and reliability.
