Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote a safe working culture, working with safety and field personnel to minimize risk and comply with OSHA/MSHA requirements.
  • •Serve as project manager for construction crews by setting project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy.
  • •Monitor and control construction progress via administrative direction of superintendants to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
  • •Recognize and negotiate change orders, and develop and maintain the backlog for operations.
  • •Supervise construction teams, assist with job bidding as needed, and manage contract financial aspects while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management (or related field) or equivalent training and experience.
  • •Proven experience with increasing responsibilities in highway construction and related duties, including asphalt and concrete.

  • •Some experience creating, working within, and/or administering an assigned budget.
  • •Valid state driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
