Job Summary

Lead product strategy and execution for AI-powered experiences that transform Vivint smart home hardware into a proactive, intelligent ecosystem. Own a multi-year AI/ML roadmap, define “new-to-world” ambient intelligence capabilities, and partner with data scientists, platform engineers, UX, and hardware teams. Translate complex ML architectures into clear PRDs and operating plans, monitor model performance and telemetry, and mentor a team of Technical Product Managers.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the AI experience roadmap and multi-year sequencing across the Vivint and NRG smart home portfolio.
•Develop and refine a multi-year product plan rooted in emerging AI/ML capabilities and customer benefits.
•Serve as a technical thought leader for unifying hardware endpoints and cloud platforms using unified ML models.
•Author data-driven narrative documents (PRFAQs, working-backwards, and 3-year operating plans) to align senior leaders on AI investments, training needs, and data privacy.
•Directly manage and mentor a lean team of Technical Product Managers and collaborate across Data Science, AI/ML platform engineering, UX design language, and hardware product lines.

Salary: USD 209,600 - 345,840 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years shipping consumer-facing AI/ML software features or intelligent IoT experiences at scale.
•Deep technical literacy applying machine learning to consumer-facing ecosystems (e.g., computer vision, edge-AI, NLP, predictive behavioral modeling).
•Strong understanding of how software intelligence interacts with physical consumer hardware, including wireless frameworks and cloud/local processing constraints.
•Proven experience managing products requiring close coordination with AI data scientists, ML infrastructure engineers, and data privacy teams.
•B.S. or M.S. in a technical field (Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related).
