Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end accounting execution: monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring accurate, timely, audit-ready financials across entities and projects.
  • •Lead FP&A and strategic finance: company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, including development/management of internal FP&A tools and the BizOs platform.
  • •Manage audit and reporting: serve as primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors; deliver monthly/quarterly board packages and investor updates.
  • •Set and maintain technical accounting policies (capitalized project costs, inventory/commodity accounting, revenue recognition, and foreign currency) and build internal controls for future scale and capital raises.
  • •Lead team and systems: coach the Accounting and FP&A team, evaluate and implement finance systems/tooling (including ERP/planning tools), and improve finance processes, reporting, and automation.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including senior leadership spanning both accounting/controllership and FP&A.
  • •Scaled a finance function at a capital-intensive, high-growth company (hardware, industrials, energy, or mining), ideally through fundraising or capital deployment.
  • •Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles; CPA or equivalent technical accounting credential strongly preferred.
  • •Owned external audit relationships and board or investor reporting.
  • •Experience building or upgrading financial systems and processes as a company scales; familiarity with ERP and financial planning tools.
