Job Summary

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical hardware issues impacting field and Zero Hour returns, production yield, and product-level investigations. Review schematics, manuals, and component datasheets, support schematic updates and design reviews, and perform basic design analyses. Help as a cognizant engineer for the product test equipment team, debugging test systems and contributing to cost-reduction and part obsolescence/redesign initiatives. Gain hands-on experience with electrical test equipment and tools like Cadence and LTspice.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical hardware issues related to field returns, Zero Hour returns, and production yield problems.
•Analyze alternate parts and write justification memos to support obsolescence and part shortage issues.
•Review and interpret electrical schematics, product manuals, and component datasheets to support investigations and issue resolution.
•Assist with schematic updates and design reviews, and perform basic design analyses per internal and customer requirements.
•Support and debug production test equipment as needed, including acting as cognizant engineer for the product Test Equipment team and contributing to redesign activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
•Basic knowledge of electrical components (resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, integrated circuits).
•Understanding of circuit theory and system design principles.
•Familiarity with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers).
•Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with effective written and verbal communication.
