Key Responsibilities

  • •Process end-to-end semi-monthly payroll runs for Canada according to federal and provincial requirements.
  • •Reconcile payroll inputs and outputs, validate earnings/deductions/taxes/benefits, and review files after processing.
  • •Act as a liaison between Payroll, HRIS, and IT to support system configuration, testing, and optimization.
  • •Prepare scheduled and ad hoc payroll reports and support HR/Finance/Tax teams for audits, budgeting, and planning.
  • •Ensure compliance with CRA and provincial payroll regulations and support year-end processing including T4 and RL-1 preparation.

Key Requirements

  • •4-7 years of Canadian payroll experience with full-cycle payroll ownership.
  • •Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
  • •Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws, wage regulations, and payroll taxation.
  • •Advanced Excel skills, including v-lookups and pivot tables.
  • •Experience with ADP GlobalView highly preferred; high attention to detail and confidentiality.
