Key Responsibilities

  • •Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs by taking orders and suggesting beverages and menu items.
  • •Answer guest questions, make recommendations, and up-sell liquors while communicating drink orders to the bar via POS.
  • •Deliver drinks while managing trays through large crowds and maintaining line of sight/atmosphere control throughout shifts.
  • •Maintain cleanliness by removing dirty glasses/dishes, wiping tables, clearing spills and obstacles using proper lifting techniques.
  • •Follow responsible alcohol service rules: check IDs under 30, refuse service to overly intoxicated guests, and process payments and comp/void checks per policy.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to work late hours and a flexible schedule.
  • •Working knowledge of cocktail tray service, basic food service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes and garnishes, and point of sales systems.
  • •3 years’ work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
  • •Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.
  • •Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training certification or equivalent; ability to deal with intoxicated guests safely and courteously.
