Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the school’s Inclusion Department and provision across relevant phases.
  • •Develop, implement, and regularly review the school’s Inclusion Strategy and Inclusion Policy.
  • •Coordinate identification, assessment, referral, support, and monitoring for students with additional learning needs.
  • •Oversee planning and provision through DLPs, IEPs, Individual Support Plans, Behaviour Support Plans, Advanced Learning Plans, and other personalised plans.
  • •Lead a graduated/tiered approach to provision and ensure teaching adaptations, curriculum modifications, assessment accommodations, and interventions are implemented.

Key Requirements

  • •ADEK Qualified candidate with attested Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education (Special Education, Psychology, Inclusion or a related discipline) with equivalency.
  • •Valid teaching license.
  • •Valid IELTS / English medium of instruction letter from the university.
  • •60 hours of CPD coursework through local and/or international training providers.
  • •At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience and at least 1 year experience as Head of Department (e.g., SEN Coordinator, Head of Inclusion, Special Needs Director), plus knowledge of ICT to aid teaching and learning.
