Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain product structures and multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical assemblies.
  • •Create, document, and release manufacturing assembly procedures, work instructions, and test procedures.
  • •Create and maintain documentation packages for manufacturing partners and ensure suppliers have current released documentation.
  • •Support NPI from prototype through production ramp and contribute to DFM/DFA reviews.
  • •Own technology transfer and manufacturing release processes: manage ECOs, coordinate builds at external manufacturing sites, and ensure quality/compliance with configuration management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience supporting electro-mechanical and/or opto-mechanical products, ideally with OEM or production assembly/test experience.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Strong experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and transitioning products from development into production.
  • •Experience creating and maintaining structured Bills of Materials (BOMs) and writing detailed assembly procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing test procedures.
  • •Familiarity with PLM/ERP/document management and strong knowledge of configuration management and document control.
