Job Summary

Own and advance procurement category strategy by managing RFI/RFP processes through the PVet stages and supporting contract creation. Collaborate with Global Category Managers, Category Managers, and Tactical Buyers to capture market insights, monitor competitiveness and savings, and ensure supplier performance. Apply governance using KPIs and root-cause corrective actions, manage supply base performance, and ensure Thales e-Acquisition and procurement tools are fully used.

Job Function: Procurement & Sourcing

Key Responsibilities

•Work closely with Global Category Managers, Category Team Leaders, Category Managers, and Tactical Buyers.
•Manage RFI/RFP processes until PVet 4 stage (up to PVet 5 in some regions) to provide competitiveness.
•Ensure business enablement for raising procurement orders by providing required information to the Business Analysts.
•Monitor category markets and provide insights to improve competitiveness through suppliers, methodologies, and technology.
•Drive supplier and acquisition management, including performance management, supplier competition governance, and adoption of global contracts/framework agreements using procurement tools.

Key Requirements

•Support one or more procurement categories in alignment with Global Category Manager and Category Manager strategy.
•Manage RFI/RFP activities through PVet 4 stage (up to PVet 5 in some regions) to improve business competitiveness.
•Monitor defined category markets (key players, newcomers, economic and regulatory constraints, innovations/technology) to inform category strategies.
•Apply governance using KPIs and implement root-cause corrective actions for category operational performance.
•Manage supply base performance, supplier competitions, and global contracts/framework agreements using Thales procurement tools.
