Key Responsibilities

  • •Work closely with Global Category Managers, Category Team Leaders, Category Managers, and Tactical Buyers.
  • •Manage RFI/RFP processes until PVet 4 stage (up to PVet 5 in some regions) to provide competitiveness.
  • •Ensure business enablement for raising procurement orders by providing required information to the Business Analysts.
  • •Monitor category markets and provide insights to improve competitiveness through suppliers, methodologies, and technology.
  • •Drive supplier and acquisition management, including performance management, supplier competition governance, and adoption of global contracts/framework agreements using procurement tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Support one or more procurement categories in alignment with Global Category Manager and Category Manager strategy.
  • •Manage RFI/RFP activities through PVet 4 stage (up to PVet 5 in some regions) to improve business competitiveness.
  • •Monitor defined category markets (key players, newcomers, economic and regulatory constraints, innovations/technology) to inform category strategies.
  • •Apply governance using KPIs and implement root-cause corrective actions for category operational performance.
  • •Manage supply base performance, supplier competitions, and global contracts/framework agreements using Thales procurement tools.
