Key Responsibilities

•Oversee operational performance of multiple Inspection Centers by partnering with General Managers to identify and resolve challenges to objectives and production requirements.
•Lead and develop high-performing IC teams, ensure strong staffing plans, and focus on retention, engagement, and Carvana values.
•Manage production planning and capacity to meet production targets, aligning purchasing and transportation with plans.
•Ensure IC compliance with operating standards (standardized work, operating rules, 5S, product integrations, visual management) and health/safety and loss prevention guidelines.
•Audit and lead continuous improvement efforts, train and mentor managers on problem-solving and process improvement, and hold teams accountable for results.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 10 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing, leading over 100 associates.
•Current GM at a Carvana Inspection Center or experience successfully leading multiple manufacturing or reconditioning work centers.
•Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience applying them in a complex operating environment.
•Proven track record leading and developing associates and managers, with ability to manage project deliverables and metrics to aggressive targets.
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be able to read/write/speak/understand English and meet physical requirements (including lifting up to 60 pounds and walking up to three miles daily).
