Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary focal point for the Supplier Engineering Excursion Response Team (SERT) to protect the factory from supplier-caused line down.
  • •Lead excursion response by evaluating supplier performance and capabilities and driving continuous improvement at supplier sites.
  • •Drive quality problem resolutions and incident management, including root cause and corrective action; identify systemic supplier resolutions at the process level.
  • •Use enterprise-wide software to adjudicate and document quality issues via Containment, Root Cause, Corrective Action, and Corrective Action Verification using 8D.
  • •Train suppliers, engage in process audits, promote sound testing methodologies, and support development and execution of the Quality Management System documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated depth and/or breadth of expertise in supplier management, manufacturing engineering, and quality engineering in the semiconductor industry.
  • •Ability to lead excursion response by evaluating supplier performance and capabilities and driving continuous improvement opportunities at the supplier site.
  • •Proficiency in quality problem resolution and incident management, including driving root cause and correction actions.
  • •Experience using enterprise-wide software to adjudicate and document quality issues (Containment, Root Cause, Corrective Action, Corrective Action Verification) through 8D methodology.
  • •Ability to help train suppliers and engage in process audits, promoting sound testing methodologies aligned to corporate compliances and industry standards.
